Rising Star Josh Turner
Josh Turner is the rising star from Nashville that was nominated for a CMA Award last month. He and his band are currently touring the USA and has plans to keep touring well into 2008. If you haven’t heard “Me And God,” from Josh Turner’s recent duet with Ralph Stanley, you can now hear the entire song from the Universal Music Group web site for Turner’s latest album Your Man. This is a great song and hearing the two together is something special. Two great singers and one awesome song this is a must listen to.
His first album, Long Black Train, and the title track moves people to tears. Yeah, it’s about sin and stuff but it’s a great piece of music. Josh Turner MP3 can be downloaded from the internet but only on a few sites. People that have heard the song “Me and God” and had to stop and reflect on the words, music, voices, and message. Josh’s message is simple and plain, music is flowing like a spring brook. Sometimes a message within a song can get lost but the way Josh sings the song it’s give great justice to it. Josh has played at the Grand Ole Opry since December 2001 and is a favorite singing of the Opry crowd.
